A dynamic, energy-driven seven piece band with a tight Funk performance feel and sound like none ever seen in Milwaukee. Besides funk, Montage is also known for playing R&B, Soul and Disco from the 70's to today.

The Suburban Bourbon 11.12.2022

Montage has always been privileged to play at SB! Pete (Owner) is one of the easiest guys to know and work with! Montage returned to this great venue and then there was fun. Then music. Then dancing. then MORE dancing! Then the Good TIMES were growing. Always happens at SB!!

Halloween Costume Party Care of the Post 10.29.2022

Feels great to dress up and have some place to go! Especially, if it’s a Ghoulishly Funky Halloween Costume Party! Patrons brought the FRIGHT and Montage brought the FUNK! We played for a capacity crowd with prizes and great costumes to be had and seen. A special “Shout Out” to Pat Mustapich! She spearheaded this event and has been an advocate for Montage! We appreciate her and we appreciate all of you that came out and supported Montage! Thank you. Hope to see you all soon.

St. John In The Wilderness Church Fest. 8.17.2022

Our first time performing in Elkhorn! Small fest, but TONS of Fun and great people!!

Literally, the neighborhood came out to support this local church and enjoyed & danced to the music of Montage. Many, many compliments given (both sides) as the evening progressed. We plan to be back to this Fest. Hope to see you in ‘23!

WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR 7.28.2022

Great fair, great people, great dancing and GREAT MUSIC from Montage.

Montage really got things going. When we started up, we immediately drew in people to our little tent called the “Do Drop In”. Interesting enough, we brought the Funk and the Disco to this little slice of the Fair and people took quite the interest. They told us they loved the variety of music, the way we interacted with ourselves AND the crowd, but most of all - we brought the FUN(k) with the music!

Germantown Pavilion 7.21.2022

Montage was scheduled to perform at the Germantown Pavilion but then Covid struck.

Now, we performed and were welcomed by over 300 people and many dancers who showed us how much they enjoyed our music. We had a blast, the music was tight and the crowd responsive! We will be back!

St. Mary’s Church Festival 7.10.22

What a Great gig! Tons of people, food and DANCING by one of Milwaukee’s Best Bands - Montage!

People we haven’t seen for a bit came to great us again and strut their stuff on the dance floor…er..Asphalt. :) The crowd was cookin’ and Montage was HOT!

Thanks for your support and saying HI to us at our summer gigs! It’s greatly appreciated!

East Troy On The Square 7.7.22

Montage returned to one of our favorite venues to perform. We were told that this event was one of the best attended in a while, so we’re NOT complaining! :)

The East Troy HS Jazz Ensemble performed some great music before us (a group that received some top awards from competitions around the State)! Great crowd participation on a few of the Montage tunes led by our own male lead singer - Christian!

Pewaukee Kiwanis Beach Party 6.25.22

Due to Covid, Montage was delayed in performing at this FUN venue.

Forward to this date and.. Plenty of Funk, dancing, partying and F U N was happening at this event. We even got a little sand in our shoes! :) We also had some fantastic subs filling in for a couple of our members Jude and Steve: Brett on Sound (Great Job!!) and Julia on Sax who brought the house …er..T E N T down with her solo’s!! One of the best things that Montage enjoys? IS watching all of you have a great time!

Private retirement Party 7.1.2022

Some friends hired Montage for this fun retirement party! Old friends, new friends, great food and drink and don’t forget the MUSIC OF MONTAGE! Kudos & thanks to Jean and Jeff for giving us the pleasure for playing for this!

Nixon Park 6.16.2022

What a crowd! What a response! What a great gig!

Montage returned to Nixon Park to perform for about 300+ people. Many came out front to dance and some to listen, but either way - everyone had a great time! Steve went into the audience and had dancers flock to him. Nicole and Christian had the crowd going, singing, dancing and just following along with Montage. Montage was tight and the music flowed. What a great gig!

Dear Friends - Montage is back!

We survived the initial bout of COVID in 2020 and were excited to join our friends out on the dance floor for the summer of 2021.  But that was not meant to be.  Our dear friend Gary passed that July before we were able to share our love of music with you.  We took the time necessary for us to mourn his passing and determine if and how Montage wanted to move forward.

The entire band couldn’t see letting our love of music end with the passing of Gary and we firmly believe that he wouldn’t want us to either.  So we started on the path of searching for a new vocalist with anticipation and excitement.  Well, it was not an easy journey to take; and it had many forks in the road. But in the end … it was well worth the effort.  (Just come out and meet Christian!)

Montage is (always) in the process of adding newer tunes to our rep and putting others on the back shelf.  Stay tuned (pun intended) to see what we’ve come up with.

Though we’ve said it many times, we thank you for your never ending support through the turmoil of life’s ups and downs. 

Let’s get this party started!

Montage returned to the venue where we started out - Mezcalero’s Restaurant.

What a turn out! We had no idea that the place would sell out and would be standing room only! Thanks to all of you for your INCREDIBLE support and man(!) DID IT SHOW!!

Tons of well wishers and old friends. Many new faces that told us they will be see us as much as they can.

Wow! After being gone for such a long time (filled with life’s ups and downs) ALL OF YOU gave us the encouragement to continue to play and simply have fun. Thank you all for this wonderful gift!

Hope to see you at our next performance! :)

Like many of the bands “out there”, Montage’s first priority is for safety with all that is going on. We hope and pray that all of you are staying safe and healthy. At the time of this writing, those words are almost beginning to sound trite. BY NO MEANS ARE THEY!!! All of us in Montage (to include our families) are doing our best to stay safe and healthy which means that we are also staying away from each other. We love to perform and play music for all of you. By not being able to (at the moment), we not only miss the interaction with each other in the band, but also the energy, fun, kindness and more that YOU provide for us!! We’ll all get through this “virus” and land on our feet. We will share in each others company again and “try” to make up for lost time with as much fun as we can create and experience.

Montage has been busy making music, having fun and making friends like YOU at our performances! As of this writing, Montage has one more performance for this year. Yet, as we come to the end of yet another year, once again we must say - Thank You!

Thank you for all your support and compliments and even friendships. The Montage band cherishes each of these and hopes to always provide you with wonderful entertainment and music for dancing.

The New Year brings some changes, along with some NEW venues. We’re all excited to see what musical surprises are coming for everyone in the coming year.

On behalf of the entire band Montage, we wish you a joyful holiday season!

Montage is about to play its final gig for the summer at State Fair on August 10.

We can’t THANK all of our new and current Montage supporters enough! You guys have come to our gigs, raved about us to friends, danced to our tunes and had a wonderful time with everything! Our energy feeds off of yours! Never forget that. We’ll give you the best performance we can and all we ask in return is for you to have a great time!!

Behind the scenes:

Jude is our sound man. He’s the guy that makes us sound good. Quite honestly, without him we would be less of a great sounding band. So, if you happen to be at one of our future gigs, say hello to JUDE. He’s a great guy, oh AND SOUND MAN!!

Montage is being searched out for playing private events.

We’ve already played Corporate Christmas parties and for wedding receptions at places like Miller Park.

We’ve had a ton(!) of interest for next summer and we’re just getting started for the fall.

Summer’s well underway and Montage has been playing festivals and Miller Park!

We’ve made new friends, added more tunes to our lineup and are giving back our talents to you in the form of GROOVES!!

C’mon out and see Montage at a performance venue near you. As of this date (7.21.19) we still have the Washington County Fair, Pewaukee on the Lake and State Fair [TWICE] (Double “K” Ranch stage) in our sites!

So, take a break from that “farmer tan” and come on out and burn a place out on the dance floor! Have a cold one and as always, enjoy the COOL music brought to you by one of Milwuakee’s top UNKNOWN bands - MONTAGE.

What a year it’s been!

            Wait?  It just started!!

Montage is off to a wonderful start of the New Year!

We played for Pabst, had our one year anniversary at Mezcalero’s restaurant (with a record crowd in attendance) and have some new places that we’re going to be performing at in the near future!

Thanks to the people that have become Montage supporters and a hearty “WELCOME” to all the NEW faces that we’ve met at our recent gigs!  More and more musical things are coming your way through your favorite band: MONTAGE.

We’re also adding more and more tunes to our set lists, majority by YOUR request.

Keep an ear out for the new songs and your feet ready to dance to them.

The eve before Christmas with gifts and more to be prepared, Montage says “Thank you” -to you- through fun and its music that we have shared.

It’s time to be together, perhaps “sit” all a glow, at least for today given it’s Christmas, there isn’t a lot - if any snow.

Here’s a toast to those of us as we bring in the NEW YEAR! May it bring joy and happiness and less - one tear.

Montage hopes to continue to share its music and talents with you and with those that are new. You’ve allowed us to share our musical gifts, and you’ve danced - the many and the few!

Montage has some great things coming your way!

First, our next gig is our Halloween Costume Ball at Mezcalero’s Mexican Restaurant.

Come dressed as .. er..whatever you like and join Montage for a Ghoulishly Fun & Dancing evening. There will be prizes for the best costumes, so come join the FRIGHTivities!!

Second, and speaking of Mezcalero’s Mexican Restaurant..

Montage will have it’s ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY at Mez’s this January!!

Mezcalero’s opened their doors to MONTAGE and allowed us a centrally located Milwaukee base to perform our musical styles for you. Check the UpComing Events page for info. Montage has built its reputation at providing you with a wonderful evening of dance music and we’re not about to stop. Help us celebrate our anniversary at Mezcalero’s this January!!

Last word..

There are performing venues in the Milwaukee area that are looking for bands. Many of our followers have suggested places for Montage to try and get into to perform. We ask that you take a few of our Montage “cards” and get them into the hands of the people that are in positions of hiring for those establishments. YOUR WORD has more pull that anyone of us in Montage going into that venue and trying to sell ourselves. This is simply being honest and it is a true statement. We’re just “another band” to these places, but with Your help Montage can continue to become a stronger named band in the area.

The summer has been awesome for Montage and all of you were the reasons why!  You've supported us, came out to see us and complemented us even more by bringing your friends and love ones with you to our performances!  Thank you very much!

Montage has been asked to perform for other functions, so please keep an eye out on our Up Coming Events page.  We'll be adding a few more dates soon and hopefully we'll be playing in YOUR neighborhood!
